Acoustic sunset concerts beside the cucos, the dry-stone huts of the Albacete countryside.

In brief

Música en el Cuco is a series of free acoustic concerts organised by the Tierra y Tradición cultural association at sunset beside the cucos —traditional dry-stone shelters— of La Felipa and other towns around Chinchilla de Montearagón (Albacete, Spain). It began with two pilot concerts in 2025 and expands to five towns in 2026.

## A stage that was already there

Each concert is an experience where music, heritage and landscape meet. Stages blend into their surroundings, technical production is small-scale and sound is managed so as not to break the quiet of the countryside.

## An evening at the cuco

1.  The site opens and the audience is welcomed.
2.  We tell the story of the place and how it was built.
3.  The main concert plays as the sun goes down.
4.  Each town shows what it has to offer to those who stay.

## Songwriters, up close

The programme focuses on indie folk, singer-songwriters, contemporary folk and acoustic music, with artists from the province and a gender-balanced line-up.
